Policy and Procedure for Posting Content on the District Website
Pages within the SAUSD website are created and maintained to provide educational information, resources, and links of
interest to the students, parents, staff, and community of the Santa Ana Unified School District.
The SAUSD Web Developer is responsible for developing, implementing and managing the structure and functionality of the
SAUSD website and manages the website servers.
The SAUSD Web Developer receives requests from throughout the district including individual
departments, programs, schools and teachers. The following procedure has been established for posting content on
the district website:

One person should be designated as a web liaison for each department, program or school. Please send
the name of the person who will act as your web liaison to the Instructional Technology.

The person designated as the web liaison for the department or school, will provide the content to be
posted, in digital format, to Instructional Technology, as well as provide periodic content updates
to keep the information accurate and current.

Prior to submitting content to the Instructional Technology, the web liaison should
ascertain that:
- All content is verified for accuracy.
- The department or program administrator has approved the content for posting.
In receiving requests to update content on the SAUSD website, the Educational Technology and Media Services department
will use the following priority system for completing content updates:
1st Priority Content Posting

Superintendent Cabinet Member Approval
2nd Priority Content Posting

Email submission date of digital content will determine the order of posting.
